Damien proposed to Rama in the Blue Mountains, while the pair were both in Sydney for a work trip, although it wasn’t exactly a surprise.
During the 3-hour train ride to the Blue Mountains, Rama was teasing Damien that he didn’t do anything romantic for her any more.
He promised her that by the end of the day, he would do something nice. So, Rama had a pretty good idea of what was going to happen that day.
Then, after hiking to the top of the mountain, Rama noticed Damien was not-so-subtly trying to take something out of the bag, so she turned around to give him a chance to propose. At least the ring was a surprise!
“I always wanted to get her a solitaire because I knew it would look really beautiful on her and it sums up her personality. She is such a simple, beautiful soul and so stunning physically.”
