Robert planned the perfect day to propose to Carol and it all went off without a hitch.
After lunch at a Red Hill winery, Robert suggested they go to Dromana for a walk, but when he drove past their normal spot, Carol realised something was up.
“He parked in a random area and he looked really weird and nervous, so I could just tell it was going to happen.”
She soon discovered a candle-lined walkway to the beach, where there was a wooden tee-pee set up with flowers, candles, music playing and a huge heart in the sand made with rose petals.
After Robert proposed inside the love heart, family members and close friends popped out from their hiding spots, including Robert’s brother who had secretly captured the beautiful moment on his drone.
“I couldn’t believe how much effort Robert and his family had gone to; they helped him set it all up while we were at the winery. It was the best day ever. ”
