It was during a trip to Vanuatu when they experienced dolphins swimming alongside the boat, that Lana realised she absolutely loved the playful creatures.
So when it came to the proposal, Angus organised a surprise weekend away to Sorrento at a gorgeous hotel with a beautiful dinner out, but more importantly a swim with the dolphins!
“Being in the water is not my natural environment so I nearly drowned, but it was a mind blowing experience; I loved it!”
After dinner, Angus suggested a walk along the beach, but it was so dark they had to use their phones to light the way. He perched Lana on a sandy knoll and rummaged through the backpack to pull out the ring box to propose to a stunned Lana.
“It was just beautiful and I didn’t tell anyone for a couple of days because I wanted to keep it to myself.”
