One of the most common questions we hear from parents in the lead up to a portrait session is something along the lines of, “my kids are quite boisterous, there’s no way they will sit still for a nice family portrait, is that ok?”
The easy answer is yes!
Having kids ourselves, we know that we would much rather a photo of our darling cherubs which reveal their true nature and spirit – while still smiling and having fun – than a posed, formal portrait of kids we don’t even recognise!
With this in mind, we’d love to share these photos of Amy, Nick and their three gorgeous boys: Oliver, Finn and Max. As you can see, the boys had a ball mucking around on Port Melbourne beach and the result is a fantastic set of photos that Amy is so excited to display in their newly renovated home.
There’s plenty of time to be serious later, why not let kids be kids while they can!
