Carly and David’s story began about seven years ago when David was a drummer in a successful cover band who played regularly at Bridie O’Reillys. One night he spotted Carly at the back of the crowd. Not one to make a first move, David’s tactic was to simply manoeuver his way through the crowded Chapel Street hotspot to be near her during the set breaks. Eventually Carly had no choice but to strike up a conversation and the rest is history.
We took these photos a few months ago at their engagement session at Chelsea beach, the very spot David proposed on Carly’s birthday. Carly was a little apprehensive about getting her photo taken, but we love how suprised she was about how well they turned out. We now can’t wait to take more pics of these love birds at their upcoming Leonda by the Yarra wedding!
