The happy couple I photographed on Thursday still have some family members to tell about their wedding, so I’m going to be very vague and brief in this post, as I REALLY don’t want to be the person responsible for their parents finding out before the newlyweds get a chance to tell them their news!

When their Mums and Dads do hear about the wedding though, they should be extremely proud of their romantic children and their intimate, sun-soaked ceremony beside Nymphaea Lake in the Melbourne Botanic Gardens with just a celebrant, a photographer, and two close friends looking on. I’ve always had a lot of respect for people with the courage to throw the ‘rulebook’ out the window, and that’s certainly what they did.

So, this will be a bit of a different blog post. There’ll be no names, no close-up, easily recognisable images (sadly, this rules out a lot of my favourites!) and certainly no facebook tagging, but I couldn’t resist posting a couple of images!
