I’m not a big fan of love stories in movies, but the real ones are something else entirely. Who could possibly script that Jane would go out one night and meet her future husband and the father of her children in a maxi-taxi on the way to Copacabana Restaurant? Or that the conversation in that maxi-taxi would kick off a journey to China, Brazil and back to Werribee Mansion for their beautiful garden wedding only a few years later. Or that at the end of the ceremony, they would dance down the aisle with their two gorgeous kids. To be fair, I guess Ciro must have known that there was no better place for a young, single Brazilian man to meet a girl who would appreciate his accent :)

There are a lot of pictures, so I’m going to let them describe the day for you. One little story first though: As I was leaving the reception, I said goodbye to the kids and a tired little Oscar said “I’ll see you when you come to our house to take photos” as his goodbye. I replied “ok buddy, sounds good” and started heading towards the door. When I was about five metres away, I heard some yelling and turned around to see Oscar yelling his home address across the room!
