Justine and Steve’s wedding in Port Melbourne yesterday was stunning in every way.
Planning a wedding can be a lot of work, and so it’s lovely to see it all come off to plan. The weather was absolutely perfect – clear skies, warm-but-not-hot, and the bay was flatter than I think I’ve ever seen it. The perfect day to get married right on the bay at the beautiful Waterfront Restaurant in Port Melbourne. Justine and Steve have been extremely organised right from our first meeting, so I wasn’t really surprised to see that they’d organised the weather too! The tireless dress-search and the help from Justine’s mother had also paid off, as it was perfect too (Don’t worry Jenny, I’m not going to repeat the line from Justine’s speech last night, but I do look forward to showing you some hilarious photographs of your reaction!).
I still can’t quite believe that I even asked the happy couple to walk out onto a sandbar in the bay for their photos, or that they actually agreed to do it! I hope you’ll all agree when you see the photos below that it was a good choice.
Here are a few of my favourites from the day.
