What a nice job to start back on after a little Christmas break – the final processing of Michelle and Gary’s pictures.

Those of you who were at the ceremony would have heard the story of how it all started for these guys at a bar with friends. You would have also heard about Gary’s many unsuccessful attempts at the perfect proposal to Michelle, followed by the very successful one that led to their beautiful Daylesford wedding. There was no question of whether she’d say Yes – just whether the two of them would get the right moment alone together to pop the question!

With some local planning help from Bettina and a beautiful, personal ceremony at the Daylesford Lake which they put together with their celebrant Sally Hughes, the day started perfectly. Everyone was relaxed and happy, although Jo was a tiny bit worried about the wedding certificate blowing into the lake, with the signing table perched precariously on the water’s edge!

After a few photos with just Michelle and Gary, we attempted to wrangle the 10-strong bridal party into shape –  at least we didn’t have to ask anyone to smile, the lads barely stopped cracking jokes all day.

Once the formalities were over, the party continued at Grange Bellinzona with the most spectacular (and loud!) bridal entrance we have ever seen. With lots of family and friends who made the trip over from New Zealand and Ireland, we got the feeling this crowd was prepared to party well into the night.

Congratulations Michelle and Gary, and thanks to the Cooper and Howell families for being so easy to work with. I hope you enjoy the photos for years to come, and if you need any help using the gallery or ordering prints, of course don’t hesitate to email us.
