Yes, there can be wind and rain and yes, some shoots might have to be rescheduled but we thought we’d show off some proof that winter portrait shoots can also be awesome!
There’s just something about portrait sessions in winter – when it’s cloudy the light is soft and gorgeous, but when Melbourne surprises us with winter sun as it did for Alana and Brian, it shines on a landscape that is green and healthy from all the winter rain and on a family who are clearly relieved to be able to spend a day outside after being cooped up on the colder days!
Gorgeous little Eamon’s bright blue eyes may look like a photoshop trick, but we promise we haven’t faked them!
My favourite is the last shot – sorry Eamon, I’m sure your parents will be teasing you about that one for years.
